COVID-19: ACTIONS WE’RE TAKING
To our Valued Guest, During these past months of uncertainty and change, we have been looking forward to the day when we can welcome guests back to Spa Castle. We are excited to announce that we are NOW OPEN and will operate based on elevated cleanliness standards to safeguard the wellbeing of our guests and staff. Our top priority has always been to bring an unparalleled safe experience of healing and rejuvenation to our guests, both mentality and physically. In response to Covid-19, our team has initiated leading cleanliness protocols based on the latest guidance from the world’s leading health authorities, the WHO and CDC, to all areas of operation, front and back-end. These procedures will be updated and monitored regularly to reflect the most current science available. At a glance, here are some ways we have ramped up our efforts to guarantee guest and employee safety:
- Utilizing our No-Touch self check-in and check-out kiosks.
- Increasing frequency of EPA registered antimicrobial disinfectant cleaning throughout our facility and focusing on all high-touch areas such as door handles, counter tops, registers, lockers, locker keys, floors, seating areas, etc.;
- Requiring all employees to wear fresh masks and gloves during their shift;
- Providing all guests with masks to wear while inside;
- Stocking extra hand sanitizers and alcohol sprays throughout the facility;
- Monitoring staff and customers entering the facility and encouraging anyone who is experiencing flu-like symptoms to stay home.
- Fully disinfecting each service room after every guest and following regulated guidelines for providing safe services to our guests.
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU VISIT
- Spa Castle offers Valet Parking at $10 Per Car, Spa Castle is not responsible for stolen items or damage to vehicles.
- Our Barefoot policy will resume back to normal. ALL outside shoes or slippers will no longer be allowed for use inside the facility. Customers will now be able to walk barefoot (as to our traditional guidelines). Only new exclusive Spa Castle slippers are permitted and available to purchase in the facility for use.
- Expect to have your temperature checked regardless if you’ve been vaccinated or not.
- Refrain from visiting the spa if you are under an isolation or quarantine order/directive.
- Refrain from visiting the facility if you or a household member have a fever, COVID-19 symptoms, or a communicable illness.
- Shuttle bus services will NOT be available.
- Limited toiletries and other beauty tools will be available. We suggest you bring your own bathing and hygienic materials.
We provide robes and hand towels. $35 Robe deposit will be placed on your wristband. Guest must return robe and towel to locker attendant in order for deposit to be refunded.
- Our relaxation lounge will now reopen and be available to all customers.
- Cash/card/and contactless payments are all accepted except for American Express.
- The facility has been rearranged to promote safe social distancing. Expect that certain services will be limited and wait times may be longer than usual.
- Respect the spa’s sanitation and hygiene standards and processes posted within the spa and shared by employees.
Spa Castle will be reopening our facilities in stages with limited services, to ensure healthy and safe practices and adherence to leading health authority regulations.

What is the check-in process at Spa Castle?
First-time visitors will be asked to provide a government ID and follow the rest of the check-in process. For regular customers who would like to check-in quickly, please ask our receptionists to sign up for Express Check-In. These customers will be able to use their phone number to check-in quickly and receive their locker key.
Why do I have to provide my government ID?
Since Spa Castle NY is a children-friendly destination, we would like to take all possible safety precautions to ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone. Valid physical government ID is always required for admission.
How long does my visit entitle me to?
General admission allows you to enjoy Spa Castle from opening to closing time. However, there are no re-entries.
What are your hours of operation?
The overall facility is open from 10AM - 9:30PM. However, each amenity has different operational timings. Please refer to our ‘Hours of Operation’ page on this website for more details.
Is there an age minimum to enter Spa Castle?
Spa Castle is family-friendly spa. We accept all ages, from infants to seniors. However, minors who are under 18 years-old require supervision of a guardian at all times.
What do I need to bring with me?
We suggest you bring a bathing suit and beach towel for the pools. We provide robes and hand towels. A $35 deposit is required and will be refunded once the robe is returned upon departure.
Can I wear my sneaker/shoes?
No. Spa Castle is a barefoot facility, no outside footwear of any kind is allowed. If you prefer footwear, you can purchase slippers at our facility.
Do you have babysitter service?
Unfortunately, we do not offer any babysitter services. Children under the age of 18 must be under their guardian’s supervision.
Do you sell alcoholic beverages?
Yes, we serve alcoholic beverages. bär is located on the second floor by the pools.
Do I need to bring a Photo I.D to get alcoholic beverages?
Yes, upon arrival a wristband will be given for those above the age of 21 once proper identification has been provided.
Can we bring in any food or beverages?
No outside food or beverages are permitted inside the facility.
Can we bring a birthday cake?
No outside food and/or beverages are allowed into the facility.
Are there special diet options available?
Vegetarian options are available on the 1st and 3rd floor kitchen.
How much is the entrance fee?
Weekday (Mon-Thu) admission fees are $85 per person and $45 for children 3 Feet tall or under. Weekend (Fri-Sun) and public holiday admission fees are $110 per person and $50 for children 3 Feet tall or under. Infants under the age of 1-years old are free all year round.
Is there a parking fee?
Spa Castle offers Valet Parking, $10 per vehicle. No trucks, vans, bikes or motorcycles. Spa Castle is not responsible to missing items or damages to vehicles.
What is included in the general admission?
Guests will have access to the following: saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpool bath, hot tubs, steam rooms, healing zone, and public lounge areas. General Admission also comes with a locker, robes, and small towels. Robes and Towels are subject to a $35 deposit that will be added to your wristband, returning the items upon departure guest will receive the deposit back.
All food, beverages, and spa services are additional charges and can be paid upon leaving.
* While Spa Castle robes come in many sizes, we welcome our plus-sized guests to bring a set of comfortable clothing (shirt & pants) for sauna use.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover or Spa Castle Gift Cards. We DO NOT accept American Express, checks or money orders.
Do I need to make a reservation for the entrance?
No reservations are required.
Are all of the facilities co-ed/unisex?
Only the indoor and outdoor pools, saunas & whirlpool bath are co-ed/unisex. The bath and locker lounges are gender separated.
Can we wear our bathing suits inside the hot tubs in the locker rooms?
Bathing suits are not permitted in these areas. These areas require you to be undressed. For further information, please refer to our "Bath Area & Lounge" page under the "Experience" tab at the top menu of this page.
Are we allowed to go inside the pools with outside clothes or robes?
No. Bathing suits are required to enter the pools. Any outside clothes or robes that we provide are not allowed to be worn inside the pools. Any material other than bathing suits contaminate the pool water, which negatively affects the water clarity and filtration systems.
Can I wear my own shoes/slippers inside the facility?
No. Following traditional Korean culture, we follow a barefoot policy to ensure the cleanliness of our facility. Therefore, no outside footwear is permitted. You can purchase Spa Castle permitted footwear at our Retail & Rental booth on the second floor.
Do you have parking in your premises/facility?
Yes, we offer valet parking at $10 per vehicle.
How deep are the pools?
The pools are from 2-4 feet deep.
Are the pools swimming pools?
No, indoor/outdoor pools are both hydrotherapy functional pools. Swimming is not allowed.
Do you open outdoor pools during poor weather conditions?
Yes, our outdoor pools are open all season long, rain or shine. They are also open during the winter! The only time we close the outdoor pools is if there are safety issues, such as thunder storms and lightning.
Are the pools heated all year around? What are the temperatures of the pools?
We adapt the pool temperatures to the outside temperature. The pool water is heated for the majority of the year, except the summer.
Can I bring my laptop or electric devices?
You can bring your personal laptop. However, Spa Castle is not responsible for any loss or damage to your device in any area in the spa. Free WiFi is available.
My purchase appears to be charged more than once on my credit card.
This may be due to an error while inputting your payment information (address, ZIP code, etc.). The multiple charges are pending transactions on your credit card bill. These charges will not be reflected on your final bill. However, if you need an immediate resolution, please contact us at 718-888-9893.
Why I am not receiving my confirmation email?
Please check all your inboxes, including ‘spam/junk’. Please also check to see if your settings filter out unrecognized emails.

Do I need to make reservations for any spa treatments?
Yes, reservations are suggested for your convenience, but are not mandatory. We recommend they are made at least 2-3 days in advance. A debit/credit card is required to hold the reservation (No American Express can be used). There is a 30% cancellation fee if you do not cancel 48-hours in advance.
Do you offer prenatal services?
Unfortunately, we do not perform any prenatal massages, including but not limited to foot & hand massages, body scrubs, and body treatment services. We do offer most facials, except the Aroma Organic Peel.
Is my general admission included in the spa treatment?
Regular spa treatments do not include general admission. You must pay general admission in order to enter the facility for your treatment. However, all promotional packages include the admission, so please double check when you purchase any packages.
Is there a Hotel?
